Marine Community

Thursday, April 09, 2009

By Marine Community, I mean various Bangladeshi citizens perfoming/performed marine related jobs all over the world. As I belong to that community, I personally know many of them. Most of the Marine community, according to my observation, is full of great hearts and potential people. After my disastrous accident I got many many help from our great Marine community.

I recall many who have been very active just after my accident during my measurable days and also helped me to rehabilitate myself in the changed situation of my life :

  1. Capt. Mustafa Akbar (16th Batch) : Took very hard initiative in my early days of accident.
  2. Jafrul Alam sir (6th Batch), Capt. Akhtar Ahmed (13th Batch) : They had been of great assistance during my stay in Singapore. Their families used to bring food for me.
  3. 17th Batch of Marine Academy : These are my batch mates who have done a lot during the early days of my accident. A very vital thing was my 1st PC, which changed my life.
  4. 14th Batch of Marine Academy : They have assisted me in many ways to rehabilitate myself in my disabled life.
  5. Whole Marine Community : This community launched a "Power Wheelchair Project" guided by Capt. Abdullah which had been a succesful event in my life. It brought some charm in my monotonous disabled life. Please Click Here To View Details...

There are many others, whose names I don't recall clearly but I remember their faces. My gratitude to all these kind hearted people. Please accept many many thanks from me.
