Cause of disability : Caused by a sudden shock while trying to dive in a swimming pool.
Nature of disability : Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). No sense below chest level. No sense in the wrist and fingers, but can move both arms.
Level of disability : C5,C6
Date of disability : 25 May 1993 (16+ years post injury)
Ability Condition:
- Operation of Computer : Uses a stick fitted in a hand splint to type. Very efficient in typing and mouse operating, as good as any normal person. Uses various accessibility and voice software for fast typing. Typing speed about 50 words/min if using voice recognition software.
- Means of Mobility for going outside : In a power chair, he can travel by himself out in the roads including rough places. See pictures here:

Computer Skills:
- Extremely efficient in computer operations at pro level. Well conversant in MS-DOS 6.2, Windows XP, Vista and earlier versions of Windows.
- Very good working knowledge about any latest Word Processor, Spreadsheet and Database software. Specifically uses Microsoft Office XP suite. Previously used Microsoft Office suites earlier versions, Lotus, Word Perfect, Dbase etc.
- Professional web site designer : Suitably trained in advanced HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Perl etc. Following are few web sites designed and maintained by me:

- Multimedia skill : Has the ability to edit and change any image, video, audio files using necessary software.
Language Capacity:
Fluent in English, Bangla and Hindi. Efficient in reading, writing, translating in English to Bangla and vice versa. Because of rapid travelling in the past, he had worked with and has the ability to communicate with persons of almost any nationality.
Current Employment/Activity State- Self employed
